Catalyst Strength is a non- intimidating environment with an open and welcoming atmosphere.

It’s unique in that members can choose their own music on the iPad in the gym while they train. It is also dog friendly with the owner’s resident gym dog who greets all members as family. It’s a non- intimidating environment and you are not confronted with a mirror image of yourself as soon as you walk in the door.. a safe, happy place for me which feels like a second home where I am accepted non judgmentally and unconditionally.

Regardless of size, age, race, gender or socio-economic status,  I have always felt accepted and respected by members and coaches alike the moment I started training at Catalyst gym.  I have always been welcomed with a smile and have felt like a valued member of the gym family as I can be my true self without fear of judgement.

The Catalyst coaching team are genuinely concerned for your wellbeing and listen to your concerns referring to the appropriate health professionals where needed. They are also happy to support and help with any training exercises where needed when they are available.

Before I started with Jeremy from Catalyst, I thought strength training was all about “gym bros” and lifting heavier each time you trained. Catalyst showed me that it’s about doing what’s best for your body and focusing on technique rather than weight to minimize chance of injury. Regardless of how strong others are, Catalyst is a supportive, Inclusive community where all members celebrate others in their wins and support and comfort in their failures or struggles.
