At first Jeremy from Catalyst was one of Hobart/Tassie’s up and coming coaches primarily focusing on powerlifting. As time went on I came to realise the in-depth coaching I was receiving, with tailor made programs that target main training/fitness goals.   I would never have become the powerlifter I am today nor have an understanding of why I do what I do when I train. Physically I have been my strongest when training under Catalyst. Mentally helping me realise I was probably overtraining and burning myself out before joining Catalyst.

The largest impact I have seen is how peaking works and how applied to myself can help me achieve some of my best lifts. Bench frequency and volume goes up, so does your bench shockingly. Despite changing through different lifting stances and positions when lifting, Jeremy has been able to adapt and aid in those transitions and work with my body to get the most out of technique.

Catalyst Strength as a gym is a dope ass powerlifting gym.Having someone there who is knowledgeable on your end goal and how to achieve it is so motivating so why not give it a go.

I view strength training as a goal that I want to work towards. Far too often people place winning and constantly being top dog rather than just striving to break their own PB’s and Catalyst helps achieve that.
